LTG Thomas Bostick is the Commanding General of the Army Corp of Engineers. Previously, LTG Thomas Bostick was the Commanding General of the Army Recruiting Command, USAREC. On May 5th, 2014, LTG Thomas Bostick sent a personal note to SFC David Hack thanking him for Sgt. Hack’s contribition to the Recruiting Command:
USAREC’s many responsibilities include providing the link between the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and the public, serving as the point of contact for news media representatives, and publishing the command’s professional magazine the “Recruiter Journal.” The staff directs programs in the areas of public and command information, education outreach and community relations, and provides policy and guidance to 38 subordinate advertising and public affairs offices and education services specialists that support more than 1,600 recruiting stations nationwide. Sgt Hack was the # 1 Recruiter in the United States, not only for the Army but all services. Sgt. Hack employed novel, if not unorthodox methods to reach potential recruits. He created custom painted vehicles including a 1960 Corvette and M51 Jeep. Additionally he created a SGT HACK WANTS YOU T shirt that he gave out to thousands. Formulating relationships with the AHRA, the American Hot Rod Association, Sgt. Hack was the originator for marketing to those organizations that the youth followed.

If SFC Hack is still in contact with LTG (R) Bostick, I would like to get his email address or mailing address so I can invite LTG (R) Bostick to my retirement ceremony or at least use him as a reference on my resume.
In 2008, then MG Bostick flew out to Portland, Oregon to present me my recruiter ring when I was the only one getting a ring that month. He also endorsed my letter for Warrant Officer Candidate Course in 2009 and we stayed in contact with email, but it was only when I started working on my retirement packet did I find 1) he had retired this past May, and 2) his official email was no longer working.
So I would be very grateful if I could get in touch with LTG (R) Bostick.
I am sorry but Sgt. Hack does not have LTG Bostick’s personal email. He hopes to have it in the future.
